Join the team at Trauma Treatment International

Do you want to join a friendly team in a remote, flexible role which makes a real difference to people’s lives?

Trauma Treatment International is looking for candidates for two new paid positions, namely a business development and fundraising manager, and an office manager. The charity is also recruiting for new volunteer trustees with financial, legal or human resources expertise.

CEO Quen Geuter explained that the charity is undergoing an exciting period of growth, which will be strengthened with the recruitment of the two new team roles. She said: “These positions provide a truly exciting opportunity to make a real difference to victims of trauma across the national and international charity sector.

“The business development and fundraising manager is an opportunity for a creative and partnership-focused individual to join a fast growing charity which is meeting a vital and increasing need for trauma treatment and prevention. The role will require a hands-on approach to driving the charity’s growth in all income generation and fundraising activities.

“Meanwhile, the office manager will play a key part in maintaining and further developing the internal systems and processes for Trauma Treatment International, to enable us to work with partners around the world to end trauma.”

TTI prides itself on its inclusive, supportive culture, and is committed to ensuring a healthy work-life balance for its team members. To this end, both positions offer flexible hours on a part-time, remote working basis.

Quen added that the charity plans to recruit two to three new trustees to expand its board and strengthen particular aspects of its governance. “Working together, we will achieve our plans for growth,” she said. “The new trustees will help us ensure that the organisation continues to extend its reach, influence and impact for victims of collective violence, wherever they are in the world.

“We are particularly interested in hearing from people with lived experience of the issues we seek to address, as well as those with experience and skills in finance, legal matters and human resources.”
